The complex M3FAKE program prompts the user, one item at a time, for the contents of a GRIDDED, BOUNDARY, or CUSTOM file and then builds the file accordingly. It is a user-friendly means to create dummy data sets. In order to describe the horizontal and vertical coordinate systems, the user can specify the name of the grid as found in the GRIDDESC file or else may supply all needed parameters entry by entry.
